Krav Maga Examinations

The need for a system to track our progress was the reasoning for establishing an institution of examinations.The techniques of krav maga are essentially tangled with advanced motor skills, that is, the ability to act effectively and operate under a variety of conditions and scenarios. Motor skills are associated with all-out physical and psycho-intellectual effectiveness.Efficiency is determined by the speed of execution, precision & motion economy as well as adaptability to a variety of unpredictable situations. All the above factors are essential and taken into account, when determining the final score for each student.

The whole examination procedure was also deemed necessary, since students know that their skills will be evaluated and thus are better prepared.  Of course, success and achieving one’s goals, is in itself an incentive for better and more efficient training. On the other hand, success in the exams does not mean that the student is ready for any event he/she might have to face. How well prepared someone is, has to do with a variety of factors, different for every scenario we might have to engage. Bottom line is that knowledge of self-defense is crucial and something that must be taught from a young age to our children. It’s imperative that self-defense becomes a part of their education.
